Feb 27 2008 - ‘Footprints in the Sand’ exclusive video!

It’s here! You can now watch the brand new video for ‘Footprints in the Sand’ premiering here and BBC Radio 1’s website.

Shot by acclaimed director Sophie Muller, ‘Footprints in the Sand’ is the official single for this year’s Sport Relief.

Now that is what I call a moving, emotive, powerful,beautiful and thoughtfully presented song and video. It got the message over about poverty and the help these people need.  Thank you

personally for me this is a superior track to “better in time” i would like to see “footprints” get more airplay on the radio - so come on leona fans - get requesting!

Have you heard that leona aint going to be touring till 2010! i cannot believe it! i cant wait that long. apparently she is going tot be doing on the basis of her second album!

Does anyone know where i can get the american version of her album when it is released because i wanna hear the bonus tracks and add it to my collection of her stuff at home!

OMG! i cannot believe this! i am loving the video and one on my fave songs from spirits is goignt to be on the double a side! ARGH!! i am loving the video i just need it with sound because the skl comps are crap and they aint got no sound!

I am going to try and get tickets to the sports relief because she is going to be performing there and i just need to see her live

The ‘Footprints in the Sun’ represents how fragile those human being in the third world that we should focus our attention to rectify it not to overlooked it. The Earth have made them vulnerable and cannot reach our real world. So, I thought through this song will touch every single human being on earth to contribute to sport relief so that they can give a better chance to those who cannot stand to this very blind and challenging world.

Well done Leona!!! As you indulge youself to awaken the world to do something about it…

God bless you Leona.  You are touching people with your voice.  This video gives you more understanding of what sport relief is all about.  It is highly emotional.  It makes me think and appreciate what I have at the moment and to remember to help others who are in need.  Thank you Leona.  I wish you all the best in the future. You are a role model to our kids.
