There are video applications this year http://application.xfactor.tv/. Perhaps some of the talent that post themselves on the Internet could apply this year with the video option.  I don’t know anyone who is up to it. So I would like to be excited. They wont find another Leona, I think. Wasnt Esmee Dementers discovered by video (have I got her name right)

I think the new audition format puts people off! I hope someone comes on and says it was leona who inspired them, its kind of makes you want to go on (even if you cant sing lol). Just because leona watches x-factor! No-ones gonna top leona though!

By the way, im not auditioning, i prefer to watch: be amazed and laugh at people!

I’ve lost a lot of respect for the show since my two twin friends auditioned last year and were told they could see the TV judges, but only if producers could interview them/make a story on their father’s brain tumour. I think it’s sick; not hating on the show, it brought us Leona. but for me it’s an entertainment show nowadays, rather than a talent show.

I would love but i’m not from UK and i don’t have self-confidence enough to go a casting like that..even that is one of my dreams :(

I plan on auditioning for the US one when it comes around next summer!!!!!
I’ve always preferred auditioning for X-Factor than AI because I like the idea of having a mentor.
I can trust that this person knows what they are doing.

Wow Marc, it would be brilliant to see someone from the forum audition for XF or AI.

I agree Jack I think Leona and Shayne are out of this world in terms of talent , Alex is great but Joe will end up like Leon.

Aparently this year there’s an option of auditioning by video! Personally I think it’s a bit stupid as if you’re gonna apply, you may have to perform on a stage sooner or later, so it might as well be from the start!

i heard X-Factor is coming to the States. I cant wait for it

Oh wow, if that happened, it would make me so proud! But yeah, no-ones gonna top Leona, she’s the best!

I agree Vicki! although I do miss Sharon, just read her first autobiography on holiday and I have a new respect for her! bring back sharon!!

Apparently all this years performances from the live shows will be on iTunes on the Sunday, in the style of AI in the US. I probably won’t even watch this years show. I barley watch TV now anyway and I can’t see myself switching on for this. Last years was dreadful and I switched off after a few weeks.
