I do not know about Italians really preferring dancy stuff. people who had had a massive suceess from the italian X factor in the last two years (giusy ferrero, and noemi) have not done dancy singles. (I like noemi very much!)
Happy didn’t go too well on the radio and it sold well here. iTunes sales is what people will have to pay attention to for the next month, rather then radio airplay.

I really don’t see OMH doing well anywhere, even in the UK it will under perform and the album will keep sinking.

I dont like Love Letter much but if she releases it, I always wish the song becomes successful. Be broad-minded

It is a hard song to sing live, i kinda thought it was a little underwhelming IMO live but im sure leona will make it alot better just like she did with happy

Leona will do it, dont worry. The problem with Leona isnt her songs, just her promotion plan set by her management. If she gets a great promo and pushes I Got You to be heard, then she shouldnt have a prob
This is without a doubt the most important moment in Leona’s career since her debut. The outcome of IGY is crucial. I remain optimistic.
Yea this’ll make or break leona’s career in the US IMO. But im confident everything will fall into place
IGY is a great song with easy listening but more importantly easy to sing for Leona, it does not push her voice to the extent of Happy or Bleeding Love did. It is also a song that can be played with the crowd’s participation when she’ll exclaim A place to stay, the crowd will reply: I Got You; In essence a catchy song, perfect for the North American market, I am also optimistic about Leona being able to pull it off. Let’s watch and see.

Really pleased with ‘I Got You’ being the 2nd single. Definitely a risky move, though.
I’m hoping she re-schedules her Today Show appearance. As of now there’s no artists scheduled on the show for these dates: Dec 14-16, 18. There are dates available the week of the 21st, though not sure if she’ll be in the US at that time.

I think the songs a great choice, its the most “sing a long” song on the album, its got a massive base line which will sound great over radio…i dont see the worrie people have, if she can promo the [gosh] of the song it should do well

Once I Got You is released in US/ OMH in UK and Europe i can see them releaseing OMH in US and I Got You in Europe in around April next year. Think of it if I Got You smashes in the US, its bound to smash in UK thats just how it works, just like how Babra Streisand get her UK #1 album when her album hit #1 in the US. OMH would also be great in the US because funny thing i always thought the US love dancy stuff. After all those releases i see Can’t Breathe smashing again.

I like everyones comments and criticisms….I really hope I Got you does a great job in the US and Canada ....I agree with the comment about the radios playing christmas music now and the single not getting enough air time…hopefully that would not be the case if it were released soon…..Im so excited though that the next single is I gOt you ... Myself and a lot of ppl I know love that song ..... there were so many great songs on the album either way so it must have been hard to decide….WOoooow I am super excited now I can sing along to it in the car ...lol ....since i know all the lyrics after having the cd for less than 2 weeks :D ....<3 Leona shes awesome
