I’m not a patriotic person. Nationalism hinders global understanding and separates humanity through the enforcement of artificial boundaries. Nationalists argue and fight over Earth’s limited resources. To quote Michael Franti: “Love just one nation, and the whole world we divide.” In the digital age, through information technology, there no longer can be an excuse for war.
