i dont think anywhere else in the world call it soccer, its football or near enough. (spanish for football is futbol i think) America should just call it football! simples!
I never understood why we call it soccer. Football would make much more sense considering you play it with your feet. But I do have a question; what do you call American Football?

I have never understood either, its like when americans miss out the “u” in colour and put color. As far as i know (im british) i call it American football, but i dont call football in america soccer as it sounds a bit wierd to me!
